The shop owner shared the following on his Facebook page about us:
Step into a spiritual atmosphere with the beautiful gemstone trees from Gembui Gemstone.
These creative individuals are jointly renting Booth 6 in the most delightful curiosity shop in Leek.
They’ve even created tiny miniature trees, which are currently displayed at the checkout. I personally received one of their trees 🤩—it’s getting a special spot. Maybe it’ll even bring me some luck.
But they have so much more. I haven’t even had time to properly look at everything yet. There are pyramids, pendant necklaces, planet stones, bracelets, and the bonsai trees—handmade from wire and small gemstones.
On the shelf below, you’ll find even more trees, a few heart-shaped stones, some little boxes with unique gems, and an extra tray with individual stones in little pouches.
There’s also a bit of promotion and, oh yes, some space with a few wheels—probably leftovers 🤪. Doesn’t quite match the theme, but who knows, maybe someone will love them.

April 2025 – A Rainy but Beautiful Day at the “Zeldzaam Mooi Markt” in Groningen
On Sunday, April 21st, 2025, we once again set up our stand at the charming Zeldzaam Mooi Markt on the Vismarkt in Groningen. Despite the light rain that came and went throughout the day, the atmosphere was warm and lively—exactly what makes this market so special. Visitors walked by with umbrellas in hand, and many still stopped by our stand to explore our latest collection.
This edition of the market felt like a fresh chapter for Gembui. Over the past months, we’ve expanded our assortment and brought in many new gemstones, jewelry pieces, and unique decorations. One of the improvements we’re especially proud of is the way we present our products: we’ve added new storage baskets to display necklaces and keychains more neatly and clearly. It may sound like a small detail, but it really helps people find what they love more easily.
In the photo beneath, you can see a snapshot of our stand that day. From our gemstone trees to hand-crafted necklaces and laser-cut wooden displays, our table was full of color and detail. The orange cloth in the middle added warmth to the presentation, while the grey table covers gave everything a calm, clean look. Even though the pavement was wet and coats were zipped up tight, people still took their time browsing, chatting, and buying.
We’re grateful to everyone who braved the weather and passed by. Some customers already knew us from previous markets, while others discovered us for the first time. Hearing people say they loved our products—even in the drizzle—was the best reward we could ask for.
We’re already looking forward to the next edition. Rain or shine, Gembui will be there, sharing our love for gemstones, handmade beauty, and everything that makes life a little more magical.

September 2024 – Repairing and Reviving a Beloved Belly Piercing with Pink Sapphires

Recently, we had the pleasure of repairing a belly piercing for a friend of ours who had lost its two gemstones. This piece was special to her, and we were honored to restore it to its former glory.
The repair process began with carefully cleaning and preparing the piercing for the new stones. After drilling precise holes, we selected two small, round-cut pink sapphires from our collection of setting gemstones. These sapphires were the perfect choice, adding a delicate yet vibrant touch to the piece.
Once the sapphires were positioned, we used a special jewelry-grade two-component epoxy to securely bond them to the piercing. This adhesive ensures a strong and lasting hold, allowing the sapphires to shine brightly for years to come.

On Sunday, June 30, 2024, Gembui had the pleasure of participating in the vibrant Zeldzaam Mooi Markt at Vismarkt in Groningen. The day was blessed with beautiful weather, with clear skies and a warm sun that perfectly complemented the lively atmosphere of the market.
As a new addition to the market scene, the Zeldzaam Mooi Markt attracted a diverse crowd of curious shoppers and art lovers. We were thrilled to showcase our collection of gemstones, jewelry, and decorations, and it was heartwarming to see so many people drawn to our stand.
Our unique pieces, carefully crafted with attention to detail, caught the eyes of many visitors.
